Voluderm is a device-based treatment combining microneedling and radiofrequency (RF)
energy to stimulate skin renewal from within. The treatment activates the skin’s natural
production of collagen and elastin, helping to firm the skin, improve texture and increase
elasticity.
skin firming and improving skin structure
softening the appearance of fine lines and scars
reducing the appearance of enlarged pores.
Voluderm is not suitable for very sensitive skin, during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or if
your Roaccutane course ended less than 6 months ago.
A consultation with our nurse is always required to ensure the treatment is appropriate for
your skin.
Yes. The treatment firms the skin and improves elasticity, giving a smoother, more youthful
appearance.
It softens fine lines and wrinkles, especially around the eyes, mouth and forehead.
Improvements in skin texture and tone are often noticeable within a few weeks.
The most significant results continue to develop over several months as new collagen and
elastin are produced.
Downtime is typically 24–72 hours. Mild redness, swelling and sensitivity are common and
usually settle within a few days.
Some light flaking may occur as dead skin cells shed – this is a normal part of the healing
process.
For optimal results, a treatment course is usually recommended, spaced about one month
apart.
The number of sessions needed depends on the extent of your concerns related to skin
ageing. Most clients require at least three to five treatments to achieve the best outcome.
Avoid strong retinol products, potent acids and exfoliants for about one week before and
after the treatment.
We also recommend waiting 2–4 weeks after botulinum toxin or dermal filler treatments.
A consultation with our nurse is required before booking. During this appointment, the
treatment, procedure and aftercare will be explained in detail, and we will confirm that the
treatment is suitable for your skin concerns.
Follow the aftercare advice carefully: avoid direct sun exposure, use SPF 30 or higher,
choose gentle skincare products and keep the treated area well moisturised to support
healing.
