Polynucleotides

Polynucleotide treatment is completely different from traditional fillers or other collagen- stimulating procedures. The product is derived from slowly degrading fresh salmon DNA fragments, which are 97% similar to human DNA. Polynucleotides are known for their regenerative properties and their ability to support tissue repair, stimulate cell renewal and encourage tissue remodelling.

General

Polynucleotides increase collagen and elastin production by regulating fibroblast cells, which naturally decline as we age. They enhance tissue regeneration and help restore skin tone and elasticity. They also offer antioxidant and hydrating benefits due to their deep- moisturising effect.

Polynucleotides can address a wide range of skin concerns, which is why their popularity in aesthetics has grown rapidly. They influence cellular activity, encouraging the skin to produce more of its own elastin and hyaluronic acid. They also work very well together with other treatments and, when combined, can support a broad variety of skin needs.

FAQ's

Is this treatment suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes. Polynucleotide treatments are generally well tolerated and can be suitable for sensitive skin, but a consultation with our nurse is important for personalised guidance.

Can polynucleotides be used around the eyes?

Yes. They can rejuvenate the under-eye area by reducing dark circles and fine lines, resulting in a fresher appearance.

Can polynucleotides be combined with other treatments?

Yes. They can be combined with other aesthetic treatments, such as dermal fillers, to enhance facial features and overall skin quality.

What results can I expect and how soon?

Depending on the area treated, you may notice firmer, more elastic and brighter skin, and the under-eye area may appear fresher.
Because polynucleotides work at a cellular level, full results develop gradually. Improvements in texture and hydration usually begin within a few weeks, with most clients seeing noticeable benefits around 12 weeks.
