VelaShape technology combines infrared light, radiofrequency energy and vacuum suction. Together, these create deep, controlled heating in fat cells, surrounding connective tissue and underlying collagen fibres. This process stimulates the natural production of new collagen and elastin, helping reduce local skin laxity, contour the body and improve overall skin texture.
The combination of heat and vacuum helps smooth the tissue, enhance circulation, improve skin tone, reduce fluid retention and firm the skin.
There is no downtime with VelaShape, and it is also well suited for post-pregnancy skin firming as well as post-procedure care following treatments such as liposuction.

Can the treatment cause bruising?

If your skin is very sensitive or you bruise easily, bruising is possible but not harmful. When treating the facial area, such as the jawline, small areas of bleeding under the skin and temporary redness may also occur. These usually settle within a few days.

Is the treatment painful?

The treatment is generally comfortable and relaxing. However, if you have grade 2 or grade 3 cellulite, these areas may feel slightly more sensitive during treatment.
The more advanced the cellulite, the larger the clusters of fat cells and the more uneven the skin may appear. Cellulite can occur in women and men of all ages and body types, although it is especially common in women. As waste products and fat accumulate in the tissue and lymphatic flow slows down, the skin can become more uneven.
