Profhilo® is an injectable treatment designed to support the skin’s health and overall quality.
It contains a high concentration of hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally present in the skin. Hyaluronic acid helps hydrate and smooth the skin while supporting its structure and elasticity. Unlike dermal fillers, Profhilo does not add volume or shape to specific facial areas – instead, it provides deep, long-lasting hydration from within.

Profhilo is injected just beneath the skin’s surface using five precise points on each side of the face, allowing the hyaluronic acid to disperse gradually and evenly across the skin.
We recommend at least two treatments, spaced one month apart, to achieve an optimal outcome.

Profhilo is suitable for men and women of all skin types who are noticing the signs of ageing or who wish to improve skin quality and hydration. It helps address early or existing loss of elasticity, which typically becomes noticeable from the age of 30 onwards. Women over 50, including those post-menopause, often experience significant benefit from this treatment.
Profhilo can be used on the face, neck and décolletage.

Who is the treatment suitable for?

This treatment is suitable for anyone over the age of 18 who wishes to improve skin elasticity, boost hydration or help prevent fine lines and wrinkles. It does not replace the effects of dermal fillers.

When will I see results, and how long do they last?

Profhilo begins to work immediately, although it may take a few weeks before you fully see and feel the improvement. Results become increasingly visible within four weeks, and the full effect is typically seen around eight weeks after the second treatment.
The results can last for around six months, although this varies from person to person. Maintenance treatments can be carried out every six to nine months to support the refreshed appearance achieved with Profhilo.

Does Profhilo have side effects?

As with any injectable treatment, temporary redness, swelling or bruising can occur at the injection sites. These reactions vary between individuals and usually settle within a few days.

Is the treatment painful?

You may feel a slight stinging sensation at the injection points. Because only a small number of injections are required, overall discomfort is minimal.

Is Profhilo an effective treatment?

It is important to understand what Profhilo can – and cannot – achieve. While it can help the skin appear firmer and more hydrated, it is not a dermal filler and does not replace treatments that add volume, such as cheek lifting or jawline contouring. Profhilo can, however, be combined with dermal fillers or energy-based treatments to address concerns that require additional support.
