Voluderm - combines microneedling and radio frequency to tighten the skin, smooth lines and improve the skin's texture naturally

Voluderm™ is an advanced device treatment that combines radiofrequency energy with microneedling. Both technologies have been used in skin rejuvenation for decades. Radiofrequency microneedling helps achieve smoother, firmer and more even-looking skin.
This combined treatment stimulates collagen production, improves skin firmness and supports a naturally rejuvenated appearance.

General

RF microneedling is a non-surgical rejuvenation treatment used worldwide to address a wide range of skin concerns. During the procedure, very fine needles create controlled microchannels at the ideal depth for collagen induction, while radiofrequency energy is delivered into the skin. This produces a uniform heating effect in the deeper layers, stimulating the formation of new collagen fibres and noticeably improving skin quality and texture. The skin responds by activating its natural repair processes. RF microneedling is an excellent option for softening fine lines and wrinkles and refining overall skin texture. It is also highly effective for acne scarring. The treatment helps minimise enlarged pores, leaving the skin smoother and more refined.

FAQ's

What is Voluderm treatment?

Voluderm is a device-based treatment combining microneedling and radiofrequency (RF) energy to stimulate skin renewal from within. The treatment activates the skin’s natural production of collagen and elastin, helping to firm the skin, improve texture and increase elasticity.
skin firming and improving skin structure
softening the appearance of fine lines and scars
reducing the appearance of enlarged pores.

Who is not suitable for the treatment?

Voluderm is not suitable for very sensitive skin, during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or if your Roaccutane course ended less than 6 months ago. A consultation with our nurse is always required to ensure the treatment is appropriate for your skin.

Does Voluderm help firm the skin?

Yes. The treatment firms the skin and improves elasticity, giving a smoother, more youthful appearance.
It softens fine lines and wrinkles, especially around the eyes, mouth and forehead. Improvements in skin texture and tone are often noticeable within a few weeks.
The most significant results continue to develop over several months as new collagen and elastin are produced.

Is there any downtime?

Downtime is typically 24–72 hours. Mild redness, swelling and sensitivity are common and usually settle within a few days.
Some light flaking may occur as dead skin cells shed – this is a normal part of the healing process.

How many treatments will I need?

For optimal results, a treatment course is usually recommended, spaced about one month apart.
The number of sessions needed depends on the extent of your concerns related to skin ageing. Most clients require at least three to five treatments to achieve the best outcome.

What should I avoid before and after the treatment?

Avoid strong retinol products, potent acids and exfoliants for about one week before and after the treatment.
We also recommend waiting 2–4 weeks after botulinum toxin or dermal filler treatments.

Before the treatment

A consultation with our nurse is required before booking. During this appointment, the treatment, procedure and aftercare will be explained in detail, and we will confirm that the treatment is suitable for your skin concerns.

After your treatment

Follow the aftercare advice carefully: avoid direct sun exposure, use SPF 30 or higher, choose gentle skincare products and keep the treated area well moisturised to support healing.
