for a short time, but you can return to your normal activities straight away.
Unlike many other treatments, such as laser or microneedling with radiofrequency, you can
continue your usual routine immediately after Ultherapy.
Mild tenderness in the treated
area can occur for a few days up to two weeks, which is a normal sign of tissue response.
We recommend avoiding heat-based activities – such as saunas, hot tubs and intense
exercise – for a couple of days.
For the first week, use gentle, non-irritating skincare and avoid stronger products such as
exfoliants, toners and acids.
A consultation with our nurse is required beforehand to ensure the treatment is appropriate
for your skin.
There should be a minimum of 2 weeks after botulinum toxin treatments, 4–6
weeks after fillers and 6 months after thread lifting before undergoing Ultherapy.
We do not perform this treatment if there are open wounds, severe or cystic acne in the
treatment area, active implants (such as pacemakers) or metal implants in the treatment
area.
The treatment is not recommended for clients using anticoagulant medication, those who
are pregnant or breastfeeding, or individuals with epilepsy, diabetes, herpes simplex,
active skin disease, autoimmune disease or bleeding disorders.
